#2 Getting comfortable with the uncomfortable

I challenged myself with a New Year Resolution in 2017. My goal was to do physical activity every day for a yearIt was a transformative journey, everything I did, learned and realised helped me build a strong foundation for even more adventurous and daring challenges.

Active and healthy lifestyle is what I promote and I would love to see that other people can build around the things I share. It requires consistency to build discipline and change deep rooted habits.

At the beginning I felt like I was fighting to demolish parts of who I am in order to be able to build something better. It was a painful process because you need to embrace the change, to go with it and not against it.

Looking back, the journey was a victory in itself in spite of achieving 60% of the goal. Here are some of the most important things I’ve learned.

You can read here about the sport challenge and how everything started. In my next article I will talk about food, the things I’ve learned and recommend.

Nice presentation! I also am on a fitness kick using the MYZONE system. Last month I finished second out of seventy competitors (and the oldest) in the fitness club I am a member by exercising hard every day. Pain is actually a pleasurable state as is fast failure.
